NEW CONTRACT WITH COMPANY SUNAL LLC

SIGNED CONTRACT FOR PROVISION OF DESIGN SERVICES ON THE PROJECT OF CONSTRUCTION OF ALCOHOL FACTORY

 

Company SUNOKO LLC Novi Sad with its three sugar factories in Vrbas, Pecinci and Kovacica is the biggest domestic producer and the largest exporter of sugar. They supply sugar to a large part of domestic and foreign food and confectionery industry, a large number of wholesale stores and households. As a professional entity on domestic sugar production market, the company continuously seeks to ensure stable and sustainable supply of this staple item to related industries and a broad range of consumers.

In accordance with its planned development policy and improvement of business activities, company Sunal LLC Novi Sad, an alcohol production factory, was founded, with primary activity of distillation, purification and mixing of beverages.

Request for quotation and several phases of negotiations between company SUNOKO LLC       and Energoprojekt Industrija for provision of services on preparation of design documentation   for obtainment of necessary permits and approval from the relevant ministry for project “Construction of the plant for production of ENA/PG/Fuel alcohol“ to be built in Kovacica on plot  No. 8690/1, commenced at the end of 2021 and successfully resulted in signing of a contract between companies JSC Energoprojekt Industrija and Sunal LLC this year in April.

The planned plant is to have capacity 100,000 l/day of extra neutral alcohol / pharmaceutical alcohol / fuel alcohol and use corn as an input raw material. The holder of know–how for process plant is Indian company Praj which provides the basic design. For other technological processes within the above project, the Client procures basic design by other specialized companies.

Facilities included in this contract are as follows: corn milling unit, liquefaction and fermentation unit, distillation and dehydration unit, evaporation unit, decanting unit, DDGS dryer, DDGS pelletizing unit, waste water treatment plant, barometric condensation, alcohol storage tanks, alcohol pumping unit, storages, facility for process water preparation, administrative and common facilities, roads and infrastructural installations within the complex.

Activities are planned in 2 (two) phases which include:

First phase:

  • Defining of the scope of technical documentation in accordance with legal regulations of the Republic of Serbia;
  • Preparation of technical documentation for the purpose of obtainment of location conditions with Schematic Design;
  • Preparation of Concept Design for the CO2 plant for the purpose of Urban Design;
  • Preparation of technical documentation for the purpose of obtainment of the approval of the Schematic Design by the Republic Review Committee;
  • Acting on the comments of authorities;
  • Submission of documentation on behalf and upon authorization of the Client to Central Register of Integrated Procedures and obtainment of required approvals (location conditions, positive opinion of the Review Committee);
  • Management of works which constitute the subject of the Contract.

Second phase:

  • Preparation of technical documentation for the purpose of obtainment of building permit with Design Development Phase;
  • Preparation of Construction Documentation;
  • Preparation of 3D model in program 3D Plant Autodesk for the purpose of the Client;
  • Acting on the comments of the authorities and technical control;
  • Submission of documentation on behalf and upon the power of attorney granted by the Client to Central Register of Integrated Procedures and obtainment of required approvals (building permit, registration of works; approval of the Construction Documentation by the Ministry of Interior);
  • Management of the works which constitute the subject of the Quotation;
  • Technical control of Design Development Phase.

Preparation of technical documentation will include all necessary design documentation: Main volume; Architectural Design; Structural Design; Road Design; Electrical Design; Automation, Measurement and Regulation Design; Telecommunication and Signalling System Design; Mechanical Design – process section; HVAC System Design; Process Design; Traffic Signage Design; Detailed Fire Safety Design as well as all the necessary reports and studies in accordance with legal regulations relevant for this type of building.
