CONTRACT WITH CONTINENTAL SIGNED
Energoprojekt Industrija started the calendar year of 2022 by signing a contract with CONTINENTAL, one of the most renowned global companies in the field of manufacturing of tires for various purposes some of which are trucks, buses, construction industry vehicles. According to the data from the official site of this company, almost every third vehicle in Europe is delivered with Continental tires. After several months of negotiations and coordination of technical and commercial elements, continuous, persistent and comprehensive engagement of the managers of Energoprojekt Industrija bore fruit and resulted in signing of the contract for “Reconstruction and upgrade of the building for production and regeneration of conveyor belts“ within industrial complex Contitech Kolubara Univezal Serbia in Veliki Crljeni.
The subject of contractual obligation is preparation of design and technical documentation, consulting and construction, including material procurement and delivery, execution of structural and finishing works, plumbing, electrical, telecommunication, signalling, mechanical works and the works on the internal roads and handling areas for:
1. New production building – CALENDER SECTION;
2. Reconstruction and upgrade of the existing plant for production and regeneration of conveyor belts;
3. Construction of a new boiler room;
4. Construction of a new substation 10(6)kV/0,4kV; 2X2000 kVA.
Concept Design with process design for the purpose of Urban Design (which constitutes an obligation of the Client) was prepared for new production and upgrade of the existing building.
Location conditions for new substation were obtained and the procedure of obtainment of location conditions is in progress for newly designed gas boiler room which is to replace the existing boiler room and meet the planned capacities of the entire complex.
EP Industrija has already prepared graphic documentation of foundations, channels and pits for equipment taken over from Slovakia for Calender Section and for the purpose of the existing production plant. Good cooperation has been established with the Client and regular meetings are held on a weekly level in order to maintain continuity and meet the planned deadlines for delivery of technical documentation and other services under the contract.
